A quick and easy way to showcase your digital art - just upload an image and it's automatically created as an AR Canvas!
Augmented reality (AR) art has the potential to revolutionize the way we experience and interact with art. It allows artists to create truly immersive and interactive experiences that blur the lines between the virtual and physical worlds.
This feature in Overlyapp breaks the physical boundaries of artists sharing their paintings or designs with their audience. Just upload an image to Overlyapp's WebAR editor, create an augmented reality canvas object and let your audience hang it on their wall through their phones or tablets. 1) Create a WebAR project
To create an AR Canvas object, you would have to create a new WebAR project. Enter your new project name and choose the AR Canvas button in the left side feature panel.
2) Upload image
The next step is to upload the image of your painting or design. The supported image file formats are .jpg, .jpeg and .png. The proportions of the AR Canvas object will be adjusted to the proportions of the uploaded image. This feature also supports our existing NFT integration - you can copy and paste a link to an NFT from OpenSea or Rarible and create a NFT AR Canvas.
3) Publish and share
The last step is to publish the project and share it with your audience. Since this is a WebAR project, a shareable QR code will be generated. Your audience just has to scan the QR code with their phone or tablet to view your artwork in their home, office or any other location - no app download required!
